Good Grades

I've been making pretty good grades so far. I really don't want to jinx myself but I strongly predict that I will be making the Dean's List this year. All this confidence really stems from the amazing grade I got on my English essay, which I was extremely nervous about. My English teacher basically said that students are equally likely to fail her class as they are to make an A, but somehow I am definitely on track to make an A if all goes well.

I made another awesome grade on my first political science test, which apparently was not the case for many of the other students I spoke with about it. So far I am a lot less stressed than I was in high school, yet I am performing just as well. I spent endless nights studying and beating myself up about my school work in high school, but in college I think I have developed better time-management and focusing skills that have made performing at an exceptional level not nearly as dreadful.

I really hope I am not getting ahead of myself seeing as how the semester is far from over and I still have brain-busting finals to face, but I think I have started off well and have real potential to make spectacular grades.
