Walking

Since I moved on campus I have been doing a lot of walking and I think it is really good for me. I come from a big city where I drove everywhere and literally only walked around my high school. Physical activity isn't my favorite thing in the world so obviously I am not in the best of shape but since I have been walking everywhere I believe my over all health has improved. I have lost weight, my legs are more tone and I think my metabolism has increased.

Walking is a simple task that is very beneficial to people and I think some take it for granted and fail to think about the potential it has for enhancing our health. Since I have become more comfortable walking I have also been hitting up the recreational center and doing actual work outs as well because I realize it feels good to be active. I'm sure you can infer from this blog post that I am a super lazy person but thanks to the power of walking I am changing my slothful ways.

If you are like me, which I doubt a lot of people are, I recommend walking as much as possible, everywhere you can, all the time. It is good for you.
