good/bad weekend
This weekend has been the best one so far in my experience at Texas State. But definitely had its ups and downs it was great in some aspects and horrible in others. This weekend started off a little shaky as my family and I went to make our last visit to my aunt in the hospital friday night. She was taken off her life support saturday morning and she passed away early this morning and it has been hard on my family. But my dad had an opportunity to get his mind off of it. We tailgated since 8 o'clock in the morning till 6 and had a great, exciting time. I won a YETI cooler in a raffle supporting juvenile diabetes and that boosted my weekend way up and my cousin came to the tailgate and gave my dad someone to talk about the family to. Sunday my new friend and I went fishing for 10 hours all around San Marcos and had a blast finding some crazy spots a mile or so in the woods. So other than loosing a family member and not really understanding how to cope with it yet the weekend was great from hanging out with family and friends to winning a $350 cooler and fishing for a whole day.
