Bikini Hill

So far Texas State has been amazingggg. I have honestly fell in love with it. The first time I ever drove threw San Marcos the first thing I noticed was of course bikini hill. Everyone looked like they were having so much fun tanning and jumping in the river so I thought the first day I had nothing to do I would go to bikini hill and try it out myself.
Well that day happened to be this past Saturday. As it turns out I actually ended up hating Bikini Hill. My friend and I thought it would be amazing but it was just plain miserable. When you lay on your towel in the grass you pretty much suffiocate due to all the moister from the grass, and if you love being eaten alive by ants and other unknown insects, thats the place for you to go. The only thing that was a plus for it for me was being able to jump in the river after dying in the heat. The bad thing about jumping in the river is trying to get out on the steps because the river is too low right now so if you don't have upper body strength to get out, don't jump in the river. The sad this is as my friend and I are struggling to get out of the river a group of guys walk past and don't even offer to help us. How rude. Also, I had no clue guys tanned on Bikini Hill. I saw a guy who had his shorts rolled up to try to tan his paper white thighs. It was a little disturbing. I'm a little depressed Bikini hill didn't live up to my standards but I suppose its okay. I guess I'll just have to settle for tanning by a pool.
Other than that Texas State has been pretty dang awesome. Especially the football game. I can't wait for the next one.

  1. There are a ton of other great spots along the river (Rio Vista, Lions Club, the head waters)...perhaps you could have fun discovering the place you enjoy the most by the river. :)
