Honestly I was pretty bummed out when I found out I had gotten accepted here because I really just wanted to stay in my city & get an apartment with my best friend so we could both just attend the community college & have a time but I knew since I got accepted my parents would force me to come.
Naturally I came here with a weird attitude towards it all because my plans had been changed but I'm rooming with one of best friends from high school & we get along so great except they leave every weekend to visit their significant other back in the city. That's totally cool with me though because I have another friend moving to Portland at the end of the month & they stay with me on the weekends so we can hangout with all our other friends that have been going here. Once I found out that people with my similar interests exist here I loved it that much more & I'm having such a time! I've realized fast that coming here was the definitely in my best interest.
Texas State is tiiiiight.
Except now I have a tonsil infection, so don't get near me.
Oh & the student health center rocks & is super cheap so if you're ever feeling outtah' whack go hit them up.
