Fun activities!
I had a pretty fun week :) I went to this thing called campus bash on Tuesday where i ran into my friend Ruffin. It was an event led by Christ Community Church, the church I attend. It was bascially worship and then a sermon. I came to the event a little later because after class I went to the first meeting for GEA (Gospel Expressions Association). It's bascially a gospel group that sing in different events mostly on campus. On Thursday, I went to the hip hop congress showcase. At first it was boring but soon enough it got better. There were rappers, poets, a singer, two artists, and one photographer. On Friday, my floor had a pajama party. Well it was suppose to be a PJ party but it turned into a regular party. It was suppose to start at eight but it really started at ten. We danced to music, talked about random stuff, and then we watched a movie called Paul unrated. On Saturday, I went to the Texas State Vs. PVAMU game :) It was great because i have never been to an actual football game and we won so that was great. I went with my RA Mariah, my roommate, Jessica, and three other girls from my floor, Natalie, Olivia, Kaitlyn, and Emily. We pretty much spent the whole day together. We went to breakfast at commons, then shopping for some Texas State gear, then we got ready to go to the game. After the game i ate dinner and went to a party with a group of friends. It was fun because people were actually dancing and the music was great :)
