Birthday!!

So today was my birthday and I finally turned the big 18! It was weird being away for my birthday for the first time, but my friends made it a great it. After I came back from all or my classes today, I was extremely shocked when I arrived at my door to see it all decorated with happy birthday signs, pictures of myself, us, miscellaneous things, and my favorite actor Marky Mark! It was nice to know that the new friends I've made care about me enough to decorate my door the way they did, but that wasn't it... I immediately go up to their room to say thanks and they surprise me with a shoebox duct taped shut. Inside was a pack of mac n' cheese and fun sized snickers, the ultimate college student gift!
Even though my birthday was on a Monday, which I normally would dread, I was glad it was! Monday's are one of my favorite days now because most of my favorite classes are on Monday. So instead of learning from my boring classes, I got to learn all of the material I love learning about! To top it off I had the first official Lacrosse practice which was a ton of fun and I can't wait for our first tournament in October! So even though it wasn't the typical family birthday with a homemade meal and cake, it was still a great birthday that I will never forget!
