First impressions

Living on campus is awesome. From the day that I moved in I have never been so active, and that’s not saying that I was not active before. It’s just that all the activities that I like to participate in are now in a 2-mile radius thus walking distance and happing every night. I mean an average weekday includes classes, rock climbing, a few games of ultimate or sand volleyball, and a quick swim in the river. There is so much to do in San Marcos that is almost impossible to be bored if you put your self out there and get involved. The only down side to all this is that it is easy to forgot why I’m here. After the first week I was like wait I’m here to go to school and I had to force my self to sit down and study. Which is quite a difficult thing to do when my phone is blowing up about a pick up game of flag football or ultimate. But I managed to get a schedule down that I could fit it all in which is awesome.
Now to my decision to take 8am classes. Most people about now are all regretting their decision to take any class before 10. But I’m not one of those people. Yes getting up at 7am to hit up the dinning hall for breakfast sometimes is a task in itself, but the reward for me is that everyday I’m done with school by 11:00am which works for my busy schedule. And I’m not even a morning person.
